Fundraising Ideas to get you started!
Below are a few ideas of how you can fundraise for Once Upon a Smile. We are sure our creative and inventive supporters could come up with many other fantastic ideas to add to this list, but this should get you started!
Running
Whether it’s a local fun run, a 10k, half marathon, full marathon or something even more extreme like fell running, join Team SMILE and raise money by getting sponsored.
Cycling
There are many events out there such as Coast to Coast, Leeds to Liverpool Canal, Manchester to Blackpool, London to Paris, or the ultimate ‘LE JOG’ – Lands End to John O’Groats!
Schools: Whether you are a teacher or a pupil, it does not matter. The list of possible events is endless – non-uniform days, fun days and a sponsored silence to name a few. You’ll even appear as a school supporter on our community page!

Coffee mornings
Hold a local coffee morning in your community. All you need is tea, coffee, cake and friends to share it with!
Fun days
Village, pub, school, club or work fun days. You could include stalls, games and competitions.

You may not be able to hold an event but still wish to support us. Your generous donations are greatly appreciated and help change the lives of children and families less fortunate than us.
